Vaikunth Mehta National Institute of Cooperative Management is a premier management institute for the cooperative sector. The Administrative and Hostel blocks of the National Institute, Pune have been built in the area of 25401.76 sq.ft. The administrative block provides for most modern class rooms, conference rooms, library, computer rooms, faculty rooms etc. Similarly hostel block contains fully furnished accommodation for about 120 participants, common rooms, consumer store, dining room etc. There is an Auditorium which is fully furnished for holding Conferences/Seminars and other important functions with a facility to accommodate more than 200 persons. A separate hostel for about 75 students of Post Graduate Diploma in Business Management and a Girls Hostel for PGDM have been constructed. A Community Centre in the campus provides recreation facilities and social functions are held. Besides the Institute has an International Conference Hall with ultra-modern facilities. The National Institute complex has adequate number of staff quarters for the Director, Professors, Faculty Members and Subordinate staff. There is a separate Guest House having independent dining facilities and air-conditioned rooms. All the training institutes of NCCT are well endowed with infrastructural facilities like modern classrooms, libraries, computer rooms, faculty rooms, hostels etc. Some of the training institutions also have auditoriums, conference rooms etc. for in campus training. On the request of the user organizations, training programmes are also held outside the campus of the institutes. Teaching techniques being applied are:-Lecture-cum-discussions, Group discussions, Debates, Seminars, Panel Discussions, Workshops, Case Method and film/audio visual aids.

NCCT has identified National Resource Persons out of its faculty to review the Course Syllabi of long duration programmes. NCCT interacts with IIM, Ahmedabad and also sponsors its faculty for training at the Institute. Faculty Members are also sponsored to various leading Management Institutes in the country to give them training and improve their skill. NCCT has highly qualified and trained faculty in various disciplines. About 40% of the faculty holds Ph.D and M.Phil Degrees in various subjects. Subject to the requirement outsourcing of experienced and resourceful guest faculties are associated for various programmes.
